(The Star-Ledger)Republican New Jersey governor candidate Chris Christie arrived at the fire house here about 7 a.m., accompanied by his wife and four children.
He entered the polling place, cast his ballot and emerged to address reporters.
"Today is a day for change," Christie said. "I think the public is ready for that."
Christie said he was confident about the election outcome and added that independent candidate Chris Daggett "would never win."
