PPP poll: Electorate moving towards Republicans - Generic Congressional Ballot:Republicans lead 47-41

A PPP poll released tonight shows that the electorate is also likely to be more Republican leaning this year with likely voters , Republican congressional candidates move ahead of Democrats in the latest edition of the Generic Congressional Ballot.

The latest PPP poll shows that 47% would vote for their district’s Republican congressional candidate while 41% would opt for his or her Democratic opponent.

If Congress passes the health care reform bill with a public option 47% say they would vote for a Republican, while only 40% would vote for a Democrat.
