Will this happen in 2010, when the GOP takes control of US Senate?

Judge rules against Democrats in Albany; GOP holds session without them:

Senate Majority Leader Malcolm Smith and Democrats' attempt to bar the Republicans going into session was rejected by a state judge.

The madness continues.

The Republican-led coalition opened the doors to the Senate Thursday and tried to get down to business - minutes after a judge refused to block the takeover.

The new majority went into session without the Democrats - except for the two who joined the coup - but, after a few speeches, adjourned until Monday.

The new leaders said they couldn't conduct business because the Democrats locked away all the bills and other documents.
