Bush To Give First Post-White House Speech In Canada Tuesday
Washington, D.C. (AHN) - Former President George W. Bush will give his first speaking engagement since leaving the White House on Tuesday in Canada, according to the CTV.
The event will be private affair, dubbed "a conversation with George W. Bush," in Calgary, Alberta. About 1,500 are expected to attend, organizers Andy McCreath and Christian Darbyshire are quoted by CTV as saying.
The former president will discuss his "eight momentous years in the Oval Office" and "the challenges facing the world in the 21st century," invitations reportedly say. No information has been released about ticket prices and whether Bush has a speaking fee.
