The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 36% of the nation’s voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-two percent (32%) now Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of +4, his lowest rating to date.
This is the tenth straight day that the President’s Approval Index rating has been in single digits. Previously, the rating had slipped to single digits just once. Sixty percent (60%) of Republicans now Strongly Disapprove while 65% of Democrats Strongly Approve (see other recent demographic highlights).
Overall, 56% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance so far while 43% disapprove.
