Obama's support slipping

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 42% of the nation’s voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Twenty-seven percent (27%) Strongly Disapprove.

However, hopes of bipartisanship are fading. Forty-nine percent (49%) now expect DC politics to become even more partisan over the coming year. That’s up from 34% in January.

Overall, 58% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance so far while 40% disapprove.
